I was given an original quote of $995 to ship my truck from WA to MS. I had to keep calling to find out what was going on since nobody would return my calls of voicemails. One I finally got in contact with them they said they had a carrier.well then he wouldn't come out of his way for that amount. So I was told I could bribe the driver with more money. I went along with it and he still refused my truck because for it size her could make more money off 2 cars. They finally found another carrier on the last day I needed it shipped. He was supposed to pick up the. 24th. I had to call auto star to get his number to call him to find out when he was coming. Turns out he wasn't coming until the day I was supposed to be leaving WA. I agreed to stay until the next day. He said he'd be there at 12. He didn't get there until 1:30. Then he calls while I'm still driving from WA to MS (3 days) that he's going to be there tomorrow in MS.

Overall I would not use this company again. Pay more and go with the more reputable companies. There quotes aren't what they say they are once you have to start bribing drivers.

Really not sure what the customer is upset about on this one, since this was ALL his doing! Customer called us complaining that he had been working with other brokers to get this moved and no one had been successful in locating a carrier. When asked what price he was being quote, he told us $995 and didnt want to spend anymore. Our agent informed customer the reason it was not moving is because the price was too low, but we would be happy to try and find a carrier. This was all BEFORE an order was ever placed with us. A few days later a carrier called us offering to transport the vehicle at a higher price, the same price we told the customer it would take to move the vehicle. We confirmed the price with the customer, and only then was an order placed with us. During the conversation with our agent whilst placing the order, the customer then discloses that the truck has a 6 inch lift kit! We immediately called the carrier to see if they can still transport a truck of this size, and unfortunately they did not have room for the truck with a 6 inch lift kit. The very next day we were able to locate another carrier who fortunately we were able to now give them the correct dimensions to the truck, and luckily they had room for it. Customer had always informed us that he had a requested last day pickup date, and we met that despite the customers lack of full disclosure of the actual size of the truck. Customers use of the word bribe is a bit harsh, since this is a bidding process where we offer a price to the carrier, and the carrier either accepts the offer or negotiates for a better price. That is exactly what happened, again ALL before an order was ever placed with us. We wish the customer well with his truck.
