My situation is very similar to other postings on this web site. I signed a contract with this company and in the contract it stated an estimated pick up date of Sept. 14. 2007 with delivery to me on Sept. 15. As time grew closer I called and talked to Diane concerned that neither I nor the seller of the vehicle had been contacted by the "Mystery Driver". Neither I nor the seller had been given ANY INFORMATION OR PHONE NUMBERS FOR THE "DRIVER" as to who the carrier would be. Diane said she would call me back when they reached the driver. That phone call never came. Nor were my other voice mails answered, as they were evidently unavailable or closed over the weekend the delivery was to take place. Now a week later I get an email "Notification of Shipment", but no phone calls, apologies for last week or other confirming calls that the new "pickup" date was acceptable. To make matters worse they are quoting me an amount due to the "new driver" FOR MORE THAN WAS STATED IN THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT. I had already given up on dealing with this company due to lack of returned phone calls or other communication. My main concern was that a new "pick up and delivery" date would come and go with the same previous results. I have made arrangements with another company that I more thoroughly researched. They gave me a delivery date and confirmed it with me, BEFORE ASKING FOR A CREDIT CARD DEPOSIT AND SIGNED CONTRACT. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY IF YOU ARE WANTING AN ACCURATE PICKUP AND DELIVERY DATE FOR THE AMOUNT OR PICK UP DATE THEY ORGINALLY QUOTE. Their customer service is fine while they are taking credit card information and getting the contract faxed back to them. When it comes to the actual details and following up on fulfilling the contract, they are no longer avaiable by phone and you are left with voice mail that goes unanswered. What has been a wonderful experience buying a vehicle online, has been ruined by the auto transport end. I strongly recommend that you rearch your selected transporter before giving them a credit card deposit or signed contract.
