Bad Communication Experience

The pickup was 10 days after first available. No one contacted me about raising the quote to get the shipment moving. I had to call each time. Then the car was booked to ship. I called to follow up with the carrier the day before it was supposed to be picked up and the carrier told me they canceled the order immediately after Amerifreight assigned to them. I was still not contacted by Amerifreight. I had to call them back to tell them. Then they had to put the order back out to bid again. In their emails to me for confirming raising the price to get the car moved quicker, they state that if the deposit amount listed is less than what was originally paid, the difference would be credited back to me. I emailed Amerifreight about when and how they would credit the money back. Never heard back. So their receipts say I paid $895 but I actually paid $1030 ($185 deposit and $845 to carrier). Their paperwork only says I paid $50 deposit and $845 to carrier. Their quote originally was $745. If I didn't keep on top of them they would have never picked my car up before I moved. I had to tell them how urgent it was because I was flying out of town for good. They were 10 days later than first available pick up.

I had no problem with the carrier itself. They delivered a day or two early, no major damage.
