AmeriFreight provided great service. From prior research, I understood the car transport business to be more of a brokerage business than a flat fee moving service. Graham at AmeriFreight was the only company of those I contacted that was clear about how the business works and what I should expect on pricing. Our first price bid was relatively low and not picked up, however, our higher bid (which was still lower than if I had gone with a flat fee moving service) was picked up. My car was on the truck within two days. Moving anything in NYC is difficult to do, so it was commendable that the driver was on time for a pickup scheduled only 24 hours beforehand. I had no problems with the payment on delivery. I will certainly use AmeriFeight if I have to transport my car again.
