How to transport your car from NY to CA in busy time.

Although I drive for 3 hours from my place to Long Island, NY for the carrier to pick up the car, I still think that I am lucky to ship my sedan before my departure to California.

During the summer time, it is really hard to persuade the track driver to come to a small place to pick up your car since the track can be filled up very easy in the big city. If you live in a small town, it is better to give two addresses, one is your residential address in the town, the other is a one near the big city (like your friends' address). Normally the broker can post the shipping request multiple times in the system with different addresses. If there is someone would like to pick up your car near a big city, you may need to drive there, and at the mean time meet some old friends.

In terms of the company, the service price is reasonable and the track driver is nice and on-time. The whole process is not 100% smooth though but I am satisfied.
