There are so many bad brokers out there but Teddy was a breath of fresh air. We have shipped a car to and from Santa Clara University in Northern California to suburban NYC four times. Misleading or outright lies by the brokers was the norm. For example, the first time we shipped we were told to fill the back seat of the car with whatever we want. When the driver showed up he refused to take the car because of the added weight. We quickly learned the car must be shipped empty. Teddy was persistent in promising an honest and fair price. Teddy delivered and we are keeping his phone number.
This last trip was scheduled with another broker who I (mistakenly) told about our tight deadline and that the car MUST ship on a certain date. I got a text message from the broker a few days before with the driver contact information to arrange pick-up and everything seemed fine. The day before pick-up, the cost of shipping went up by 15% because the broker thought he boxed me into a corner. I contacted Teddy and he asked for an honest commitment from me before he would move mountains. I gave my word and Teddy moved mountains. With under 24 hours notice Teddy had the car on a rig to NY.
