Pick up was a early. The vehicle camped out for about a week at the origin terminal waiting to be assigned to a trailer. Transit was a bit slow, and delivered 10 days late. HOWEVER, pick up and transit was during the holidays(December-January), and the weather was horrific in the Midwest, pretty much everyday was blizzard and 10 degrees or less. I completely understand weather delays, and applaud the tow drivers and haulers for continuing to work in such painful conditions.

This is my first time using open trailer with expedite and I'm quite happy. The vehicle was delivered dirty upon my request, I know it sounds odd, but I detail cars and preferred to wash it myself.

I will continue to use DAS in the future, for those who are concerned about delays, just factor in another week for delivery, you should anyway just in case of adverse conditions. I must also point out I've contacted several other shippers initially, even the "higher end" haulers; and they wouldn't even pick up until well after the holidays. I'm assuming those premium haulers were already reserved for getting cars down to AZ for the big auctions.

I called customer service four times in the 25 day span to obtain detailed updates, hold times were all less than 3 minutes and was able to speak to someone directly. They were friendly and knew exactly where the vehicle location and status. Just as a heads up, the website tracking is..... inadequate. If you'd like to know exactly where your vehicle is, you'll have to call customer service. My only wishlist item would for them to have precise real-time tracking available on their website so I don't have to waste someones time over the phone.
