I used direct auto to move my Hyundai from New Jersey to Texas. Direct Auto gave me a good price and they were able to assign / obtain a trucking company that was very dependable.
The trucker called me the day before to confirm pick up and on the day of the pick up, we decided to meet at an ex-supermarket parking lot. He couldn't come to my apartment because of the size of the moving truck.This was not explained to me before (at the time of agreeing the order) but I fully understand the practical limitations and hence I was OK to drive a couple of miles to drop off my vehicle. The driver met me at the agreed time, did an inspection of the vehicle and gave me a copy of the inspection sheet. He told me he would be in Texas in 4 days. As promised, he called me after 3 days to confirm that he was going to be in Texas the following day. On the day of delivery, he met me outside my apartment. My car was in good condition; he had moved my vehicle from its original position on the truck to accommodate other vehicles. I was particularly impressed that he drove to drop off on the day of the delivery because there was a thunderstorm in the area.
Overall, full marks to Direct Auto and especially to the trucking company - Amy Transport and the driver Alberto. He was able to give me timely updates and deliver the vehicle on time.
