I contacted Ship a Car Direct to inquire about shipping my non-running 64 Olds Cutlass from California to Texas. After submitting an on line form, Tom called me from Ship A Car Direct regarding tranport (price, selection of transport company, scheduling, etc>). After answering all of my questions, I was sent an email through which I paid a deposit. Tom called me again to inform me that the chosen (vetted) transport company would be in contact.

In California, Dan (DJS Transport) called to tell me when he would be there to pick up the car which was to be Thursday. (He called Thursday evening to say that he could not make it until the next day.) On Friday, Dan arrived with his open hauler (he had to back down a narrow cul-de-sac). Dan was personable and seemed to care about the car. We pushed the car up to the back of the trailer and the car was winched up the ramp. He carefully secured the car with chains and was off after I signed the forms.

The car arrived in Texas on Monday with no-mishaps. I was very pleased with the enitire trasaction and woudl recommend Ship a Car Direct to anyone. The rebate that I am receiving to send this review does not bias my opinion on the service in any way.
