This was the first time I have ever had my car transported and its been quite the experience! At first I had planned my transport with another company because their quote was lower and they didn't require any payment upfront, so I couldn't lose right? Well lets just say it didn't work out as the other company promised, first my car was to be picked up no later then 6/19/2014 and I explained that I would be paying extra storage fees $15 a day if it were not picked up by the 19th. By the 16th I started to get nervous as I had not heard anything about my pickup so I called and they began to tell me that no drivers had called and maybe we should offer the drivers more money which confused me because I thought that company had their own trucks, which they didn't!.
So I began going back to all of the quotes I received and reading reviews, and noticed a recurring theme... I kept reading how Andrew transport was great and how they explain the process, so I called just to find out how this all really works. After speaking with andrew and them explaining that drivers take jobs based on price and the price I got from the other company was way too low, I felt confident in andrews ability to get my car picked up so I bit the bullet (price) and they got my car a driver to pickup on the 20th. When my car was delivered I had a chance to speak to the driver who said that he noticed my car a week earlier on the load board and could have picked it up then, but the price was too low and that no driver would have done the job for what the other company had quoted me. At this point I am pleased that its all over with, I probably will just drive my car next time, but if I absolutely need car transported I will only trust andrew because they were honest from the start.
