I had to chase everyone for information/status. The driver's dispactch personnel were extremely hard to understand- Ukranian accents made it tough. The driver (also Ukranian) was a good guy with great intentions, but I had to call him every time looking for an update as to when he would arrive. Once he was on his way to my house, I had to talk him through on how to get to Beale AFB and what gate to come in (Beale AFB only has one gate that commercial vehicles can enter through), but he followed his GPS anyway, so I ultimatley had to go intercept him at CA 65 South and South Beale Road and escort him to the Wheatland Gate. Once the vehicle was loaded, I asked him if he was good to go with how to get off the base and he said yes. About two hours later, he called me (still on the base) and needed to know how to get off the base. I again went to him and guided him off the base.

Bottom line is that the vehicle made it to Flordia in fine shape- there was just more involvement on my part than I had anticpated.
