Would not cover all damages

Very poor. It took 3+ weeks to ship my car from Ohio to California. When the car was finally delivered, there were dings on the roof which look like hail and scratches on several different areas of the car. Some of them look they they may have been caused by the courtesy car wash prior to delivery. They won't cover hail damage because they say it could occur during normal transportation. Any scratches or dings less than the size of a quarter are also considered "normal wear and tear" by DAS so they are also not covered. It doesn't matter that my car is a garage kept weekend driven car in great condition. To me, normal wear and tear is very different than what Dependable Auto Shippers considers to be normal. If this was an old beat up car I probably would not care, but the car they shipped was a 2006 Honda S2000 in excellent stock condition.

I had an estimate from a local shop for $1800 to repair my car. DAS said they would approve only $1020. And if I disagreed, then we could "talk about it some more, but it would probably not change the approved amount."
