I had a car to ship from Bremerton Washington to Portland Maine. I picked five of the top rated companies on the transportreviews Website and requested price quotes. All five contacted me and said they could ship my car, but they would not pick it up in Bremerton or deliver it to Portland. All five wanted me to drive the car to Tacoma (about 20 miles away) for pickup and take delivery of the vehicle in an undisclosed location in Massachusetts somewhere near Boston (two hours from my location). All five told me they would put out the request and I would have to wait and see if the car would be picked up and then negotiate the delivery location.

With a week to go before I left for Maine there was still no offer to ship the car, so I went back to the transportreviews Website and looked for more top rated brokers. I noticed that one; Auto Shipping Group had a Washington telephone number. Thinking that at least if the broker is in Washington they will most likely at least pick up my car at my residence in Bremerton and hopefully deliver the car to Maine.

I requested a quote and was contacted by Kimberly Freiley. I told her that all the other brokers I had contacted said they would be unable to pick up and deliver the car at the residences. She told me not to worry, that she had carriers who would definitely provide door to door service in Washington and Maine. She went on to say that she was done with work in an hour, but before she went home she would have me a carrier. And she did.

The driver contacted me a day early and was ready to pick up the car, but due to schedule conflicts the car was picked up on the next (prearranged) day. Eleven days later the carrier company contacted me and said the driver would be calling that evening (scheduled delivery day). The driver called and I met him about a block from my residence and took possession of the undamaged car.
