When the shipper I had originally contracted (Door-to-Door) to transport my three cars from SC to MN failed to show up by the end of the window they had promised, and with my family scheduled to fly to our new home in another 36 hours, I was really in a tight spot as I frantically searched anew for a shipper. Several shippers proved uncontactable (voicemail is no substitute for a live company rep when the customer is in the sort of situation I've just described), but eBidTransport was one of a few who promptly answered the phone and provided a understandable, knowledgeable, pleasant, and professional-sounding person I could speak with about my dilemma. Nancy was the first person I dealt with at eBidTransport and provided a reasonable quote (FWIW, she said Door-to-Door had quoted an unreasonably low price for my particular job, which is why they couldn't find a shipper to take the job; after the alleged 20 years in the business that they kept hyping, shouldn't they have known the price they were quoting was unreasonably low?), but by the next morning my situation had been handed off to "Danielle K.," who handled my case through the rest of the matter. Danielle K. did a wonderful job from start to finish, a stellar professional. Most importantly, she quickly found a shipper to take the job, and when that arrangement fell through a few hours later due to mechanical problems arising in the shipper's truck, she almost immediately found an alternative shipper. Almost as importantly, she *consistently* indicated a clear *understanding* of the concerns I was having by not only repeatedly expressing *commitment* that she would get the job done one way or another but also repeatedly contacting me (phone and e-mail) to keep me *closely* updated on how the situation was evolving from her end. In the end, we left our cars and keys with a neighbor, expecting they would be picked up a couple days after our flying out, but in fact they were picked up *early*, just a day after we flew out, and they were delivered about 40 hours later in exactly the same condition we had left them.
All in all, it was *remarkable* service from both Danielle K., her company eBidTransport, and of course the transporter himself. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending their services, and I will be recommending them to the department at my new employer which handles new employee relocation.
