This was the most stressful process ever. Nick, the agent who worked on my order, blatantly LIED to me. NOTHING was done as was agreed upon initially. Will NEVER work with them again and would never recommend them to anyone. Avoid them if you can. I had the worst experience with this company.

My car was supposed to be shipped from Cleveland, TN to Anaheim, CA. I was moving for a job and completely new to the area. I had 2 very specific restrictions. I needed my car to be picked up on either May 27th or May28th. I was out of town before, and then going on an international vacation after the 28th of which majority of the time I did not have access to phone or email. I also was reaching Anaheim the night of June 8th. My second restriction was that I needed to have my car delivered June 9th or after. I started this process early and wanted to make sure everything was planned out perfectly.

I spoke to Nick for hours initially, and made it very clear that I had these restrictions. I had talked with a lot of other agencies/brokers and many of them told me it was not possible for them to deliver my car because of the specific restrictions I had. There were a handful that said they would be able to work with me, but it would cost extra, which I was completely fine with because I knew I had a complicated situation, and I wanted there to be no problems.

Nick told me that he was very good at this, and it could def be done since it was way in advance. I would just have to pay a little more. He said my car would be GUARANTEED to be picked up either the 27th or the 28th from my house. And then my car would be stored, for which I would be charged storage fees. It would then be delivered June 9th or after to my residence in Anaheim. He took the storage fees into account and charged me extra on my quote ($1150 + $135 for storage and delivery fees = $1285 total) . I asked him several times if he would be able to do this exactly as we discussed, and I told him if he couldn't do it, to tell me upfront. He told me to trust him and GUARANTEED everything we had discussed by sending me in writing an email with all the details. He also said that he talked to his supervisor who agreed everything could be planned properly since it was 2+ weeks in advance. He also said all the phone calls are recorded in case there were any problems. So I then signed the contract and paid the deposit on May 14th.

Nick calls me May 23rd or May 24th, and asks if I am willing to meet a carrier on Interstate 40, which is no where close to where I live (At least 100 miles away). He says there are other options if this one doesn't work. I tell him no I do not want to do this. He then says he will get back to me with other options.

It is May 27th, and I still haven't heard anything back. I send him an email in the morning. After no response, I call him around noon. He tells me there is a carrier CONFIRMED for tomorrow, and that they are working on the paperwork. I should get all the information via email in a few hours. I ask him multiple times if everything is set for tomorrow. He says yes the carrier is confirmed, and it should arrive sometime in the afternoon. Don't worry, everything is set up.

I do not receive any confirmation, so around 5pm, I call back. I talk to Sarah, who tells me nothing is confirmed for tomorrow. She says they have been having trouble getting a carrier for my car. I tell her I talked to Nick earlier today, and he told me that everything was set for tomorrow. I ask to talk to Nick. Sarah tells me that Nick has already left for the day, and doesn't know why he would say that when a carrier had never been assigned to me. I never hear back from Nick again.

I explain the situation and tell her that I will be out of town and I need it to be picked up by tomorrow. Sarah says that they will try to get a carrier for tomorrow and tells me she will call me back in a little bit. She does call me back later, but is unable to get a carrier. She says that they will try again tomorrow morning.

I call them again the next morning for the status. The supervisor talks to me and I explain the entire situation. I was very upset that I was lied to by Nick who confirmed pickup. I told them to listen to all the phone calls.

On the evening of the 28th, they tell me they have found a carrier for the next day and my car would be picked up midday (btw 11am - 3pm). I can leave my car keys hidden somewhere and the driver will come and pick it up without me being there. The carrier has a yard in Fontana, CA which they tell me is close to Anaheim. They tell me that the carrier as a favor has agreed to store it for free. Then, my may either be picked up or they will try to drop it off. They tell me that they had to pay extra since it was so last minute and they will actually lose some money.

Storage fees were taken into account when all of this was planned, and I was paying extra for them from the beginning. I planned this way in advance so it is not my fault that your company dropped the ball and could not arrange this earlier, and then lied to me about it. They didn't charge me any extra money then. Asked me if the plan was okay. What choice did I have? I was very frustrated and leaving town the next day. I had to agree with everything because I needed my car to be shipped so I would have it when I reached.

At this point, I had already lost all of my trust with this company, and I didn't want any problems last minute in picking up the car since no one would be home. I give them detailed instructions and ask them to let me know when my car is picked up. I also call the carrier and give detailed instructions to them as well.

On the 29th, I leave in the morning to go out of town. I call the carrier late afternoon, to see what the status is. They tell me that they will not be able to pick up the car until tomorrow, the 30th. I never get confirmation that my car is picked up. So finally on the 31st I call again, and they tell me that my car is picked up and en route.

After I reach Anaheim, I call 7 Star morning of June 9th. I ask them to drop off my car, as was agreed upon originally. They tell me that the carrier cannot drop off my car, and that I need to pick it up from their yard in Fontana, which is not too far away, and I can take a taxi. I am upset because it should be delivered to me as that was the original term when I signed the contract. The supervisor says that Nick has been suspended for lying and not handling my order properly. Everything in the original agreement essentially had been nullified. The yard is 40 miles away from where I am, and it costs me $150 for the taxi ride. I try to look at public transport options through trains and buses, but there is no direct way there. I was not reimbursed the $150 taxi ride.

This was the most frustrating process ever. I was directly LIED to. Their communication was horrible. I had to keep calling them and asking for updates. Nothing happened the way they promised me. They charged me extra in the very beginning for all my restrictions, but delivered on nothing. They are dishonest. I had to pay an extra $150 for the taxi to pick up my car as they refused to drop it off. What happened to me was very unprofessional with terrible customer service. Never again would I use them. There are a lot of other companies, and I wish I had gone with someone else. Be very cautious in any dealings with 7 star.
