This was my first time shipping a car and I needed it moved quickly. However, I wasn't going to settle for anything less than a company with proven experience and positive BBB accreditation. I spent several hours reading reviews that led me to Amerifreight. David Littles picked up the phone and walked me through all of the knowns ($1095 total shipping cost, deposit and COD requirements, vehicle availability, and what AmeriFreight could provide) and unknowns (how quickly carriers would respond, no guaranteed pickup time prior to selecting a carrier). While I wasn't excited that it could be 1-2 weeks before pickup, I knew I could always pay a little more so more carriers would be interested in accepting the work. Fortunately, a carrier responded on the next business day and agreed to pick up my car the day after that. Five days and 1100 miles later, my Navigator arrived.
Even with AmeriFreight's positive reviews, I initially second-guessed my decision to trust a company I had only learned about that week. Within a few hours of placing my order, I considered cancelling the whole thing and flying halfway across the country to drive the vehicle back myself. David didn't know I called him with the intent to cancel but his honesty and openness about the whole process helped ease my concerns. I'm glad I saw things through and, while AmeriFreight offered a modest $50 discount for this review, I am providing this feedback open and honestly so you can make and informed decision and trust the experts with your prized possession.
