Excellent service from Florida to Colorado

This is the second excellent review I have posted. I posted a review immediately after my car was delivered (no incentive was offered for that post). I posted that positive review because I saw some negative reviews. I wanted to let people know that my recent experience was great...no problems whatsoever. (I believe people with complaints are more likely to post.)

I originally listed my 2010 Lexus SUV ( at the beginning of April 2014) with another broker. That broker had the car listed for several weeks with no shipper accepting the agreed upon bid. I even pushed my pick up date back a week to allow more time. When I gave notice that I was going to terminate that "order," I started hearing from that broker. One excuse given is that the end of April is high season for cars being shipped out of Florida. Most cars are being shipped north, but my car was being shipped west to Colorado. My contract bid was low apparently, but the broker accepted it. (I had successfully used this broker to ship my car to Florida in January 2014.)

Near the end of April, I switched to Auto Shipping Group. Their reps were almost always available by phone or email. They have reps avail in the evening to answer questions, and the rep explained how cars are listed on the "dispatch" website, and gave me details on actual cars/bids that were listed on the site. We agreed to list mine for $50 more than a similar listing. Within 24 hours, a hauler accepted my bid. My car was picked up within days, and arrived in Colorado about 5 days later on an open hauler. The driver (UZ Transport) was awesome. He stayed in contact, provided his number, went to the same university as me (U of Denver), and is in business for himself. My car was on the top of the hauler and was not damaged. It was picked up in Florida on May 3, 2014 and delivered to Colorado on May 8, 2014.
