I started an open bidding on U ship for the transportation of my 2009 Audi from Tennessee to California. Montway gave a reasonable price, had fairly good reviews and won the contract. While Montway's customer service was excellent they subcontracted my order to Aledi LLC. The vehicle was picked up in time on Saturday and was on the way to me. Montway was notifying me for a following Friday to Sunday delivery which was great. I took of Friday just to be sure. In the contract Montway promised a call from the driver 24hrs before delivery . Suddenly, Wednesday at noon I received a call from the driver stating he would deliver the vehicle in about 45 minutes. I was shocked because I was working about 2hrs away from my house and had no way to make it home within 45 minutes, not even considering the fact I had my customer's bedroom taken apart with the promise it will be finished for the evening.I told the driver I need 2 hours to get home and I am leaving at the moment. I apologized to the customer and rushed home.
When I got home the truck was nowhere and the driver was not picking up the phone. I was only able to reach him 4 hours later when he claimed he decided to go to an other delivery to save time. He delivered the car on the next day.
