Poor communication

First, I will say the vehicle arrived on time and undamaged (although absolutely filthy). This company was the first to respond to my bid and had a fair price so I chose them, but from the time I signed the contract it was hard to reach the company. Sometimes it would take 2 days to get a response. The worst thing was communication. The website says you can store 150 lbs of personal property in the vehicle and when I emailed to conform that, I was told to "keep it neat". Ok, fine, I put 58 lbs in the car (I weighed it to be sure). I understood they would arrive when they said they would. the driver called and said he would be at the pick up between 7-9 am and would call when one hour out. AT 830 I called him, he said he overslept and would arrive at 11. At 1130 I called him and he said he was 30 minutes away. He arrived at 1:20. When I told him I wished he would have communicated so that my day was not wasted, he said "we are not a train. we don't run on time". He told me to pay the company, and I told him per their instructions I had a cashiers check for the full amount payable to him. He shrugged, took, the money, and left. When the vehicle was dropped off in Texas he marked it was "overloaded" yet the driver never said that to me. So, here's the thing. They did deliver the car, it was undamaged, and there were no hidden fees, all as promised. But my advice would be to fully inform customers that times are only an estimate, and ask the drivers to be courteous, and stay in touch with the customer. Moving across country is stressful enough, and this did not help.

I am sorry the driver was a few hours late the day of pick up, he definetly should have communicated that better with you, there is no excuse for lack of communication. Ultimately, the car was picked up and delivered, undamaged, at the price agreed upon (we guarantee our rates) on the exact days you scheduled on.
