I contracted with these thiefs to transport my daughters car from South Carolina to Wyoming where she is a student.The 1st day of pick-up was 8/11/13. I was told the car would be delivered 8/14/13. The driver never called or showed up. A driver was finally found and picked up the car on 8/20/13, after a week of lies from Ralph a supervisor. My contract called for a brokerage fee of 150.00 and an COD cost of 700.00. On 7/15 my credit card was charged the 150.00 brokerage fee. On 7/26/13 it was charged 700.00 for the transportation. I called the company to ask why I was charged the 700.00 and was told they sometimes do this to protect the driver and once the car was delivered they would refund the money. When the driver picked-up the car he demanded 100.00 from my daughter because she had packed the car with belongings. I was told by Dolphin this was OK to do. She paid him the money as I was already on the hook for 850.00. On 8/25 (Sunday) the driver called and said he would deliver the car 8/27 and asked how he was going to get paid. I told him I had already paid Dolphin and he informed me that his agreement with Dolphin was COD for a cost of 1,000.00. He indicated he would not deliver the car unless he was given the money. I could not reach Ralph on 8/25 so I called again on 8/26. I reminded him that Dolphin had already charged me and he put me on hold. He came back on and told me I was correct and that I needed to pay the driver the 1,000.00 and I would be credited the 700.00 within 24 to 48 hours. That same day the driver called and told me he had other customers and that if he was not paid the 1,000.00 on 8/27 he would not deliver the car. I called Ralph back and he would not take my call. I had no choice but to wire my daughter 1000.00 on 8/27 to pay the driver to secure her car and belonging. Today is 8/30 and guess what? My credit card has not been credited and Ralph will not take calls or return voice messages.
I have now paid a total of 1950.00 for the transport, and can not get Ralph to to confirm I will ever receive a refund. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
