I used this company to ship by car from California to Minnesota.
What I write is mainly to help people setting up shipping ask the proper questions and take measures so they don't worry during the shipping process.
The Wolfepack company staff were friendly and were the only ones that reached out via phone call when I requested a quote from multiple companies. This was my first time shipping and this is what I experienced:
* This company is just a broker. They find the shippers and coordinate the shipment and the quote.
* I was not told anything about the company picking up my car. I expected an open air car carrier with other cars on the trailer but the shipper showed up with a flat bed trailer. This lack of communication was annoying to me. I questioned the experience of the company in transporting cars. The car was carefully loaded onto the trailer so I was ok at the time.
* Now, you should ALWAYS take pictures of the car and sign something or at least have a witness to the pre-existing condition of the car. The shipper didn't have a form for me to sign and I worried the whole time until the car was picked up. Even Car dealers have a form you sign that is an agreement of pre-existing scratches or dents.
* Wolfepack told me to make the cashiers check out to the company name that was shipping my car. (weship4you). I did this and when the shipper called saying that the car was ready to be delivered to the hotel, he stated that the check needed to be made out to him and not his company. This I guess is on that shipper and not wolfepack but I feel the broker should have been more prepaired and warned me about it. I had to go and open a bank account in Minnesota and have a new cashiers check made out.
*The final Kicker was that the shipper damaged my car. He stored it in his driveway until he had time to get it to my hotel. He didn't tell me about the damage but I found a bottle of touch up paint in my ashtray and then called his co-owner and she was not happy I was not informed. At least they took it upon themselves to get the car repaired at what seems to be a good place. I am sure they lost money but it was proof to the in-experience of car care in the shipper that was selected for me.
