I had originally booked with another company to transport my car, but I decided to use AmeriFreight instead. The reason is because they were much more upfront about how this process worked. Graham, my contact at AmeriFreight, explained that you offer an initial monetary amount but if any of the carriers felt it was too low you might have to raise your offer slightly. You need to understand that they are the broker and will deal with booking the carrier for you, but they do not actually transport your vehicle. AmeriFreight's quote was actually higher than the first company I was going to use, but it made sense to me once I understood how carriers decided which vehicles they will pick up. Had I gone with the other company, I don't think my car would have been picked up in a timely manner- if at all.

My car was picked up and delivered on time as well and with no incident. I was very happy with my carrier. He was very prompt and he also called me regularly to keep me informed of the ETA of my vehicle.
