Don't normally do this, but based on the total lack of customer service by this company I thought I should share my experience so that others can have the benefit. On February 13, 2013 received a quote via Reliable's website to transport a car from Arizona to Nebraska. Called Reliable's Michigan office (at least I think that is where the toll free no. on the quote is answered) on March 4 to clarify terms of the quote and place the order. Talked to Kevin. Kevin said he could give me no idea of when the car could be picked up. I told him I understood the quote was based on Reliable's convenience as far as pick up, but that Reliable couldn't expect customers to sit around for months waiting for them to show up. Kevin said he would check and get back to me, which he did. He said there would be no problem picking the car up in the Phoenix area with a 7-10 day notice. I asked Kevin if I should go ahead and accept the quote on the website at that time. Kevin said no, just give him a call with at least a week's notice. Called on March 18, as Kevin wasn't availabe placed the order with Ralph. No word from Reliable as of March 25, so called Kevin again. Kevin said he would check and get back to me that day. Did not receive a reply back from Kevin that day, nor did Reliable return my calls I left on their answering machines (both in Michigan and Chandler, AZ) later in the day. Called the Michigan office on March 26 and received no answer, so tried the Chandler office again. An individual answered the phone that was aware of my order and said he thought they might be able to pick the car up on March 29. I said I would need something a little more firm than might. At that point he became very belligerent and said that the car had only been available for pick up since March 18 and I couldn't expect Reliable to schedule a truck in that short a time. I told him the car was available for pick up on March 4, but that Kevin had told me not to place the order until 7-10 days before I needed the pick up. He then said he could not be responsible for what someone else in Reliable's organization had told me. Based on Reliable not getting back to me as promised (one of my pet pieves), the unprofessional behavior of the individual in the Chandler office and in general what appears to be a very unorganized operation, I have cancelled my order with Reliable. A totally unpleasant experience with a company that appears to place very little emphasis on small customer relations.
