I recently had a classic 1972 El Camino transported from Seattle, WA to Chicago, IL. This car had 72000 original miles on it and had been restored to very near mint condition, so I was very nervous about shipping it. The transport coordinators at Auto In transit really put me at ease about this. The was picked up within 2-days, and on request they took digital pictures of the car when they picked it up, took more pictures when it was on the truck, then emailed the pictures to me showing the condition at pick up, also showing me the position that the car was on the truck, I could see this was a very good place for the car to be minimizing any possibility of nicks or scratches. The driver arrived on schedule, in fact early, the car was In the exact condition as it was when I saw it in Seattle, I watched the driver unload the car, and let me tell you I was impressed with the care he took to do the job rite, I mean this wasn’t just some dumb kid, this guy really took the time to do the job rite!
