Hard to wait, but worth it.

Overall a good experience. Domestic picked up my vehicle in a timely fashion for what I would consider to be a fair price. It was traveling cross country (Florida to Auburn, Washington) and took 10 days. I was quoted 7-10. The only frustrating part of the transaction was not getting any real information on when my vehicle would actually be delivered. The vehicle was picked up on Saturday and the following Wednesday I emailed Kim to find out what part off the country my car was in. I was excited about receiving the vehicle but knew it would be a few more days. She told me the truck was at the trucking companies home base in Spokane, WA (only 4.5 hours away) for some maintenance. I was shocked and excited when she told me I "should" (key word) be receiving my car on Friday or Saturday.

On Friday I emailed her to see if she had any more specific info as to what day/time it would be delivered, but she didn't' know, but told me that the company was making some deliveries in Oregon (that Friday) and they should bring my car up after that. She thought they would be calling me Friday night to schedule a Saturday delivery. Needless to say I didn't receive a call on Friday or Saturday for delivery. However I did receive a call Monday morning telling me the trucking company would deliver my car later that afternoon between 12:00 - 3:00pm, which they did. It arrived in great shape and I was very pleased.

I would have liked more detailed information, but I guess the trucking companies keep changing and they are trying to make the most of their travel by picking up/delivering as many vehicles as possible along the way. I share my story with you to let you know they did a good job and so you don't expect too much information along the way. Just be patient and your car "should" (key word) arrive on time as mine did.

As I had stated the carriers provide us with estimated dates for pick up and delivery. They gave us the estimate of 7-10 days, and delivered in 10 days. I did explain that to you a few times via email. You were also provided their contact information so you could check their status anytime you wanted. I am sorry they took their full 10 days to deliver the vehicle, but again its the trucks estimates not ours. I have the emails to prove that my customer service was above and beyond. I am sorry that you do not feel that all of the information was communicated to you, but the terms were 7-10 days for the estimate and that was met, I was in contact with you via email every time you had a question, and got back to you with the answer as soon as I knew anything. I honestly do not know what I could have done to do my job any better. I do with you luck in Washington.
