After getting a quote from a different broker (starts with an A) and then having to find out near the end of my pickup window that my spot on the truck had been lost when I called for an update (GRR!!!), I called Shank Bros to see if they could do something for me.
By then it was too late to have my car shipped when I originally intended to, but John arranged a pickup 2 weeks later that was convenient to me for a lower price than originally quoted from the 1st broker. (he even found out how the original bid/quote was screwed up!) He was very patient with me throughout the entire process and it was easy to get in touch with him via phone or email with any questions. I appreciated that I was able to postpone making the deposit until my car was safely aboard the trailer.
The driver from Autostar made sure to call a day ahead of pickup, as well as a few hours beforehand. He also made sure to get in touch with my proxy, since I was unable to be present for the car's hand-off. It was a little hard to get in touch with the carrier directly but they were very good with returning phone calls.
The car arrived the night before scheduled, and the drivers Eugene & Vlad were able to deliver it to my door post-inspection and payment.
I'm very pleased with the service I received from Shank Bro's and their contracted carrier and would recommend them to arrange a auto transport at a fair price, minus the BS!
