Two of my friends had used AmeriFreight in the past and had positive experiences, so when I needed to ship my car I knew what company I was going to use. My own experience with AmeriFreight was amazing. My shipping agent was Scott, and he guided me through the process every step of the way and really took care of me. I wanted to ship my car quickly but I was going to be out of the country for two weeks, but that turned out to be no problem. Scott took my dad's number for the sending side of things so that my shipment could be coordinated even without my direct involvement. By the time I got back home, my car had already been scheduled for pickup, only four days after the availability date I had set. Unfortunately the carrier cancelled. Very soon after, another carrier agreed to ship my car for an additional $50. Since I had started at the Economy Saver rate, this didn't bother me. However, the carrier again cancelled. Then yet another carrier said they would ship my car for an additional $25, but rather than making me pay more, AmeriFreight lowered my deposit by $25 so that the cost to me would remain the same. So for all this hassle, AmeriFreight was willing to lower the money they received from me by $25, and my car still was shipped only seven days after my availability date (and arrived at the destination less than a week later in perfect condition). Now that's great customer service! If I ever need to ship my car again, I will definitely continue to use AmeriFreight. My single complaint is that I initially had some trouble getting a hold of someone using the main AmeriFreight number. But I called very persistently and eventually got someone, and from there it was an excellent experience.
