This was my first time transporting a vehicle and as soon as I requested a quote on one website, I was harassed by callers from multiple companies. I also got about 20 emails from different companies, too. I had no idea it was in the business to give out all our personal information. Miffed, I decided to go with Motor Movers Auto Transport because their email recognized how overwhelmed one may be with all the bombardment and respected my space. The calls continued on for weeks!
Alice Perry is great and makes herself available for any questions. She is in AZ, yet she was available at very early EST hours when I had time to ask questions. She gave me lots of good advice, was honest, and granted a student discount as I am to moving to start school.
The only problem I had was the delivery arriving too early. Not so much Alice's control, but the car was picked up a day early and arrived two days early. I had no one to receive the car and I had to bother some future housemates who I had yet to meet for some big responsibilities. In addition, since we pay the drivers by cash or money order, I had to wire money to these individuals who I had to trust with a great deal of money and in checking the condition of my car.
With that said, the driver was very kind and despite the early delivery, left my car is great condition.
