| Driver difficult to deal with |
Customer service was fine however the truck driver himself could have been better. Since we were moving from coast to coast, they said it would be fine to put up to 100 lbs in the cars as long as it was not visible, ie in the trunk. Our neighbor signed out the cars for us as we had to leave a few days earlier so that we could be at our new place to receive the cars. We had 2 cars that needed transport and when the driver went for pick up, he wanted my neighbor to drive about 4 miles away to drop both cars off. This was not a viable option for us. I've had cars delivered in front our house before so I know the truck had plenty of room. After that was settled he demanded that our neighbor remove the items from the trunk. (it was mostly clothes that was well contained.). The neighbor called of course as he was not going to touch our things. We were in TN and the driver wanted us to be in NJ then and there. Ultimately, we made a deal to pay the driver more than the original quote just so he could deliver the cars without anything being removed. Arrival was just as scheduled however he refused to bring the cars close to our house and delivered it about a mile down the road. Mind you my husband walked to the truck, drove one car home, and ran back the other mile to get the other car. Our BMW, which is white had oil dripped all over it which had to take a several washings to get off. The driver just said don't worry, it's just oil. Needless to say, our cars are fine but we were not at all pleased with the driver.
