Wow, after filling out the online quote request I was flooded with quotes ranging feom $550-$1200. I'm very thorough with my research and decided to use Tru Auto Transport to ship my vehicle. I found there are a many companies out there that will tell you what you want to hear just to take your credit card info/deposit. Although these companies say the deposit is refundable but getting them to actually issue the deposit is impossible and requires disputing with your bank. Tru Auto Transport does not ask for an upfront deposit, they are paid when your vehicle ships! Also learned that all the tranporation companies post your vehicle on a national list for nationwide drivers to accept the job. This means that regardless of the cheapest price quoted, it will not be accepted by nationwide drivers if it is not close to the going market rate on this national job list and your vehicle will never be picked up! After learning this I found the key is to go with someone who is knowledgeable, has a good reputation/working relationship with all of these nationwide drivers and makes their money when your vehicle ships not in a pre paid deposit on a vehicle underquoted that will never ship. Kim from Tru Auto Transport was available what seemed like around the clock by phone or email in communication with the driver and myself, I had a great experience and I will definitely use them again in the future!
