Subject: A lesson learned on the FMCSA
Review:I was very nervous shipping my van because a.) it was my first time doing this and b.) I heard a lot of horror stories on sites such as this. My main dilemma came from the coverage aspect of shipping. I was very confused about the insurance and how that would cover my vehicle if damage occurred. In addition to that, it seemed like every company was telling me something different. Then Anthony explained how the FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) publishes the insurance of EVERY company in the country. This was perfect because now I could see who was lying to me. I was shocked at how many companies told me they were insured and the truth was very far from that. Stateway has $750,000.00 insurance cargo coverage for the vehicles they ship. And guess what? No deductible if damage was to happen. That was more than enough for me. I booked and have now been informed that a driver has been selected yesterday. I will let everyone know how things end. Thanks for listening.
