| What a Way to Handle a Classic Car |
I entrusted my 40 yr old, one owner, classic car to Elite auto shippers. As a broker, they turned it over to a regional carrier (Quality Line, Inc of Antelope, CA) and then pretty much washed their hands of it, saying I would be contacted by the driver.
After picking up the car from my home, the driver re-shuffled the cars for transport. Mine was placed on the open lower deck, right behind the truck. The driver left the window partially open and when the car arrived at the destination, it looked like it had been sand-blasted inside and out. It will take weeks of detailing to get the interior anything close to the condition it was in on departure. I guess my expectations of reasonable handling were way too high.

| This was a human error, there wasn't anyway to predict that the driver would leave the window partially opened. You where there when the driver loaded the car on the trailer. Since you didn't see it or say anything to prevent it, there would be nothing we can do to prevent something like this. We as a company are responsible to help you in anyway possible. The driver is willing to pay for the detailing of your car. |
