| Shippers great, Magic Carpet not so much |
If you ask me, it's not about the company that arranges the shipping but about the shippers themselves. I guess it can be argued that the quality of the shippers assigned to you by the transport company you went with is a reflection of the professional relationships they are able to maintain. (I.e. my shippers were great, so Magic Carpet must be able to maintain good relations with them) My shippers were great, they called me every time they got a chance, the delivery was early and professional. They are the main reason I would use Magic Carpet again. I have had a very bad experience with shipping my car in the past and these shippers are worlds apart from those shippers.
Magic Carpet, on the other hand, was not open or honest with their part of the process.They matched a quote I had recieved from another company and then told us as we had signed on that there was a cancellation fee and that if they were unable to find a shipper the cost would revert back to the quote Magic Carpet had given us. Magic Carpet did not keep us informed of what was going on; we had to call many times and it took them 2 days to get back to us. They probably didn't want to tell us the truth, which was that they were unable to find a shipper for the quote I signed on for, but that's not excusable. My car finally got shipped at the very last minute for $150 more. At that point I was just happy it was taken care of, but not happy with the lack of professionalism Magic Carpet gave.

| Aleah, I do apologize that you didnt have a complete five star service with our company. However, it does state in our terms and conditions about the price match policy, as well as we do explain that at the time of placing the order. ANy company can give you a price, it just determines if the price is good enough for the driver to make the run worth while. Hope the next time we can ship your car you will have a better experience.
