Subject: Gilbert to the rescue
Review:I chose 5 Star Nationwqide solely on the number of positive reviews given the company. I must say that Gilbert was forthcoming and honest, and gave a quote that wasn't the cheapest, but certainly not as expensive as some of the "big" boys, for an enclosed carrier. The transport company that accepted his bid, called 2 days before the scheduled pick-up date, and advised that they couldn't do it on that date. I had no other date choice and Gilbert came thru with another company that was able to p/u on time. He found this company with only 2 days notice. I will say that he was terrific in co-ordinating all this. The driver kept in touch with me throughout, but I will say that even with an enclosed carrier, the car still got dirty enuff for it to be washed. At least it was protected from the threat of heavy weather and road debris. Evidently there was a leak in the roof of the truck. A small matter, that I took care of. I do recomend 5 Star Nationwide, and will use them (Gilbert) again if needed.
