| Much Longer Than Expected |

This was the first experience I had in shipping my personal vehicle and it was more difficult than I expected it to be.
I accepted a new job in Washington state and needed my car to be moved from North Carolina. After explaining that my start date in Seattle was January 4th, Sabrina recommended that shipment would take 7-10 day and I was told that my original pick-up date "range" was the 21-23rd of December. The 23rd came and went. I called 1 World Auto Mover's office and asked for an update, but was told that only the person managing my account could give me information (NO ONE else could talk to me). I was connect to Sabrina, who is always very pleasant and warm when you actually get to talk to her. Sabrina asked if she could put me on hold. 10 minutes later I hung-up. This happened 3 TIMES!!! I eventually asked to be connected to her voicemail and left a message (in the morning). She did not call me back that day. I left a message the next day, and she called me back several hours later but could not give me any information.
FINALLY, on the 29th of December, I was able to talk to a man that explained that the shipments are actually posted on a "bidding board" and that the vehicles would only be picked-up when a trucking company accepted the posted price and decided to take-on the shipment.
***1 World Auto Movers actually has no control over when my vehicle would acutally be picked-up and delivered!***
My vehicle was ultimately picked-up on the 7th on January, 16 DAYS AFTER MY ORIGINAL DATE and was delivered 8 days later. It was in good condition and I have no complaints about scratching/damage/cleanliness. It looked fine. I happened to have moved to a city where a knew a few people and could use public transportation in the interim, so it was not a crisis. BUT,
***if you want your car to be there when you arrive, this shipping method is NOT RELIABLE!!!***
