I found Don Tackett of Suncoast Auto Transport through one of those web sites that will contact multiple companies with free quotes once you have a car that needs to be moved. He sent me a quote that was not the least expensive but definately close to it.
After receiving his quote and offer to meet anyone's price I took him up on it and he said he would live up to. I was unable to close the deal as fast as I would of liked with buying the car so I kind of strung Don along a bit. He was curteous, we kept in touch and he held to the deal. We also traded e-mails wherein he educated me how this whole transportation thing works.
When I finally had my act together I called him at 6pm CA. time and he took the information. My car was picked up the following day in Oklahoma City at noon. How do you do that?
Four days later 'Renee' of Group 66 transportation delivered the car to Southern California, in my driveway after pumping up a flat tire.
This whole car transportation thing is a bit uncomfortable for the average person, including me. The service customer service I got from these two companies kept me from drowning my fears in Jack Daniels. I really can't say enough but, my car is here safely and I think I'll have that drink now!
