I bought a car on eBay and needed it shipped from Minnesota to Texas. I looked at the various transporters recommended by eBay, and got a couple of quotes. Mike was referred to me by the Mercedes dealer in Minneapolis. His price was comparable if not cheaper than the others (their quote process was not straight forward), and he was highly recommended by the dealer, so I decided to go with him.
It only took him a couple of days to line up the actual shipping, and I had the car two days after that.
The driver was courteous and polite, and gave me plenty of notice that he was on his way. The car was delivered right to my house, undamaged.
I talked to Mike a couple of times, before and after the transport. He has a fantastic sense of humor. I found him delightful, and if I ever get to Iowa, I am going to look him up.
Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Alpine Transport.
