| AM Express Auto Transport |
| Shipping cost |
I have a car shipped from Sacramento, CA to Tucson, AZ for my brother in law. The shipping cost is $700, but the AM express auto transport over charged me $250.
When I called the company, Mike told me the shipping will cost total of $700. Then Mike told me I have to pay $250 up front, so I pay that $250 with my credit card. Later, the car finally arrived to Tucson, AZ and my brother in law pay the driver $700 as I told him because my brother in law didn't see the amount that he needs to pay on the shipping statement. About 2 days later, I called Mike again to tell him how come my $250 didn't get refund because my brother in law did pay the full $700 to the driver. Mike explained to me that I have to pay $250 and my brother in law has to pay the rest, which is $450. Mike told me that he will call the driver to refund my brother in law $250, but so far my brother in law has not recieve any refund check yet!
I believe this company is trying to cheat customers by not telling them that both parties have to share the shipping cost.
