My wife and I were trying to ship a car from Hawaii to Pennsylvania and oneworld had the lowest price, but they are completely inept. They are based out of Florida and are apparently unaware of time zones, or at least Sabrina Kim is, even after multiple email reminders. She KEPT calling at 3 in the morning. It has been almost impossible to get in contact with them, and my wife and I have spent probably a half hour on hold during our phone attempts, most recently only to be hung up on and just as quickly as you call back, no one answers the phone (even after like 45 attempts). Very un-professional service. They claim you can get your deposit back if you contact them at least a week from the shipping date and being as we're about 9 days out I guess that explains why no one will get back to us and they won't take our calls. The best way to go is use a local moving company, it will cost a little more but the constant customer service can't be beat, plus they use shippers they trust because they have a stake in their future unlike some no-name company that lowballs the price. | This move was booked on 7/6 for shipment on 7/29. On 7/8 we set up the booking for the ocean portion of the transport and scheduled the driver for the ground transport. On 7/20 (the same date that this review was posted), we received an email from the customer requesting cancellation. The agent, Sabrina Kims responded on 7/20 to see if there were any problems. The customer replied on 7/20 with a reason for cancellation, stating, “We are selling the car and won't be shipping it.” There were no complaints made about the service from our company. The cancellation and refund request were submitted to our billing department for review on 7/21, and the complete refund was made on 7/23. |
