My wife and I purchased a 1979 VW Beetle Convertible on eBay from a fellow in North Dakota. We required transport from Fargo, ND to Midlothian, VA. We decided to use Agape because of the many favorable comments and good reviews left on the Transport Reviews website. The price ($1285) was just about in the middle of the quotes that we requested from about 5 transport brokers. I did not have a problem with the assistance I received from Agape customer service. Christy was great to work with and always met my expectations. The trouble that I encountered was with the trucking firm selected by Agape to actually transport my vehicle. I was given different dates for pickup and delivery, which was aggravating since I was coordinating the pickup with the seller in North Dakota. We were initially told pickup would be Friday with delivery for the following Thursday. Actual pickup was the next Monday and delivery was Friday night. The most frustrating part was that actual delivery was at 11:00 PM (who delivers at night?) and there was very little light to conduct a thorough inspection of the car. The driver was anxious to get to his next site so we felt a little pressure to just accept the car as is. The next day we found dirty/greasy hand/fingerprints on the convertible top that were not visible at night and were not noted as being there at pickup. The cover that was put on the car at pickup was Hopefully, Agape can assist me in getting resolution from the trucking company but since I in the front seat. I could not see the dirty prints at night and did not mark the invoice sheet. So I may be SOL.
