I chose this comapny because my initial conversation with Charles was great. I explained that I had to have car picked up within the next 4 days. He assured me it was no problem. He then went off the radar once he took my deposit, never returned calls etc. I finally got the owner of the company Ariel, who proceeded to treat me like an idiot, I have shipped this car many times, so I understand how this all works, Brokers, Drivers, etc.
Finally the dispatch called me, and schedules for Friday evening between 5 and 7pm. At 8 PM the driver calls and tells me he is not coming today or tomorrow. Well you cant call Bluestar as they have no answering service on weekends. So therefore I am screwed until Monday. I call another broker at that point on Friday night, explain the problem I had with Bluestar, he understands, put me on hold a few minutes comes back and said he will call me first thing in the morning. he does and my car was picked up on Saturday.
Now I am out $175 deposit from Bluestat because the deposit is not refundable since I didnt give them 14 days to get the car. Who has 14 days when you explain it has to be done in 4 days and they agree. Basically they are a scam. I will have to advise anyone to stay away from Bluestar.

| Mr. Thomas contracted with us on 2/13 to ship a vehicle that same day or the following day. His order was rushed and dispatched the same day to Y&P Express for pick up on 2/14. The carrier was faxed a load sheet was signed and accepted. On Monday customer service recieved an email from Mr. Thomas requesting to cancel his order claiming that his vehicle was never picked up. We immediately contacted the driver and he had his own version of the story as to why the vehicle was not picked up. We explained to Mr. Thomas the situation and attempted to resolve it for him. The original carrier was still in Florida and offered to go back and pick up the car. Mr. Thomas declined stating that he had contracted with a second company on 2/14 and that the vehicle had been picked up since 2/14! Every move in this industry involves several parties and there are many different things that can come up. We would have gladly resolved the matter for him had he given us the opportunity. |
