They mislead you and steal from you.

Review:

We shipped a studio vehicle to another state, that someone had purchased after it was used in a movie. The company made us take the light bar out of the car and put it in the trunk of the car. The car also had a sealed mailing box with the paperwork on the car, when the man recived the car a $500.00 light bar was stolen and the title and a letter. He found the mailing box ripped open without any paper work in it & the response from DAS was that the cars are shipped unlocked & open to the public- quote:"THEY CAN'T KEEP AN EYE ON THE CARS ALL THE TIME" was the response they gave us. Now we have to get another title on the car & ship another light bar at our expense because quote:" THEY ARE NOT RESPONSABLE FOR THE CARS ONCE THEY HAVE BEEN SHIPPED" unquote. I do not know if Chanel at the Gardena,Ca. location had something to do with it or if it did happen in transit. But convenently we can't talk to her either...

DAS does not allow or take liability for items left in a vehicle for shipping. However, in this case, our Gardena, CA Terminal Manager made an exception. It was later determined that leaving the light bar in trunk could cause damage to the item, the vehicle or both during shipping, so it was removed. DAS Customer Service has left messages for this customer so we can get an address ship the light bar to him. So far we have not heard back.
