When it came time to find a shipper to transport an SUV I purchased in Florida, I had a hard time knowing where to turn or who to trust. Prices were all over the map from $100 (had to be a scam) all the way to $1,300. I was concerned that using the cheapest carrier might be problematic from a customer service or prompt/safe sevice perpsective. But I also felt there was no need to spend as much as $1,000 to $1,300 for an open carrier, either. Besides, a sky-high price doesn't guarantee quality or efficiency.
I chose Smart Auto Transport because they had a reasonable price quote, offered a reasonable service window, and had a good BBB report.
The entire experience was exceptional to say the least. Although they needed to subcontract another carrier to handle the actual shipment, and agreed in writing to let me see the final carrier's insurance paperwork first, which made me feel more compfortable.
Kaveen (I don't know her last name) was great to work with, and I would recommend Smart Auto to anyone. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. In fact, I won't even bother shopping around if I ever need another car moved again.
