| Cascade is OK but the Truckers they used were BAD |
I could have saved over $100 by just going with the best price from multiple bids but I thought it would be safer to pay a little more and go the the Trasport Reviews website and find a highly rated company. The highest rated one had a busy signal when I called several times so I went with the next in line. Cascade Vehicle Shipping (Kimberly) was very nice and easy to deal with but the whole experience was terrible. The story is too long to tell but the bottom line is that the shipping company is only as good as the trucking companies that they have formed relationships with - and use. We customers are at the mercy of the truckers in the end. Four delayed pick up dates, two different trucking companies, mechanical failures, bank checks that had to be rewritten, delayed delivery dates, and verbal insults and threats from a pissed off truck driver are just some of the frustrations I just experienced. My apologies to Kim at Cascade but I would never use them again. Also, avoid Exit 15 Trucking at all costs. They are the main culprits in my misadventure.

We really do apologize for the trucking company, they did not perform the way they were suppose to to show Cascades customer service. We had the original trucking company, but they could not pickup on a day where the storage facility was open. So we cancelled that truck, found another one, Exit 15. They were suppose to pick up the vehicle on Saturday. There was a delay and the storage facility was nice enough to meet the driver on Sunday. They are the ones who caused the problems with you and your contacts. We apologize for everything that has happened. Hopefully you will give Cascade another chance to show you why we are rated a 5 star company. We are checking into the company that we provided for you and will take the necessary actions to ensure it does not happen again. |
