On 6/18/08 I contracted “All American Auto Transport” to move my car from Philadelphia to San Francisco. I paid a deposit of 150$ with my checking card.
The estimated date of pick up was from June 27 to 29 as per the contract.
On June 26 we got an urgent call from them saying they needed to pick up the car that day within a few hours. We were no prepared for thit because the car was in the shop getting repairs.
At this point Mr Ralph Cala from this company said they were going to pick up the car within a week, and we agreed that was reasonable.
We moved to California and left the car with a neighbor.
After a week without any contact with the company I started calling to inquire about the pickup. They ignored me by not picking up or hanging up the phone on me, and did not return my calls.
On the July 10 I called to request a refund, and they happened to tell me the car could be picked up that same day. I asked why wasn’t I contacted the day before (as per the contract) so I could make the proper arrangements. They didn’t have an answer. Regardless I agreed to the pickup and made urgent arrangements with my neighbor.
The car was supposed to get picked up between 1 and 3 pm by a driver named Bladimir. I called him and made arrangement for him to call me 1 hour before arriving. The diver never called back and did not answered may numerous phone calls and text messages all day!!
After midnight he happens to call saying that he wanted to pick up the car. When explained to him that the arrangement I had made fell through due to his failure to respond and comply, he verbally abused me, and threaten me that my car was not getting picked up for another month, and completely disrespected me.
The next day I attempted to contact the company, and again the ignored my calls and messages. After 5 days I had already contracted another company to transport my car.
When I finally was able to get someone on the phone to get a refund of my deposit they offered to reschedule the car pick up (this is almost 1 month after the original pick up day by contract) I refused and say I wanted a refund. Since then they have failed to give me the refund and keep ignoring me.
This company has a complete lack of respect for the customers.
They broke the contract and failed to provide the service they were contracted to do.
They never refunded my money!!
