This was the first time I've ever used this type of service and if I ever have to transport a car again G&L will be my choice. They responded promptly and proffessionally to my request for a quote. Earlier I had received approximately 20 quotes to move the car. Their price was in the middle. Most importantly, they did not take any money as a deposit. They asked for $75.00 after the car was picked up. The remaineder($600) was paid to the driver when he delivered the car.

They picked the car up when they said they would. The hauler was in immaculate condition and the car was delivered by the same person and hauler a day earlier than estimated. I've heard that when a car is going more than a couple of hundred miles (mine went 1000) some services use multiple carriers and your car sometimes sits for days in various lots waiting for the next pick-up. This didn't happen with G&L

In the days between their quote and the pick up of my car, gas prices shot up 30 cents per gallon. They asked if they could charge me $30 more than their quote. I said OK. After all it was 1000 miles and these rigs get, what, 5 or 6 miles to the gallon? they said that if I was uncomfortable with that, they would honor the original quote.

All in all it was a great experience. I highly recommend this service.
