I thought 26 total days was excessive -didn't expect overnite, but give me a break! The broker did kick in exta funds to entice carrier, whicjh worked well I guess? Carrier broke down on day two, and told me its only an overnite fix. After repeated inquires as to location/status of my vehicle - I somewhat felt I was getting run-around. Seven - eight days later I discovered carrier still broke down in VERY SAME LOCATION -XXX almost completed with major overhaul of diesel. Broker was courtious and polite, but not thorough with status. I beleive broker should have informed me of status/situation on a more timely basis. Broker didn't even know or tell me truck broke down in exact location of Day two.

Lesson - low bid might not be best alternative?

AmeriFreight always carries out our promises and stands by our guarantee. Mike received fair treatment as provided by the conditions of the guarantee. Unfortunately delays caused by breakdowns and weather cannot be controlled. Throughout the process Mike was informed either by the carrier or us that we are doing our best to get the vehicle delivered. We have contacted Mike on a number of occasions and left messages for him to call us back to determine a way through which we could at least compensate to some degree for the frustration he has gone through.
