I agreed to have my car shipped from California to my address in Texas for 589.00. door to door. i made a deposit of 200.00 by card on the phone to Barry pollack. When i got the contract by email, the deposit did not show up, so after numerous calls to this company, I was assured the deposit had been credited and i would owe the driver the balance of 389.00 when delivered. i wrote this on the contract before i faxed it back to them. As it turns out, I had to pay the driver the full amount of 589.00, in addition to the 200.00 deposit or not get the car, i had to go 60 miles to pick it up DURING THE SUPERBOWL ON SUNDAY NITE, OR MISS DELIVERY. I am really not pleased with this company. They did not do what they said, for the money they quoted, nor was the car acutally delivered to me.

The contract is a pre designed program which is provided by a company in California, it does show the deposit, but the customer could not understand where.
The customer never called us to question a delivery point of 60 miles from his house, so we could not remedy the problem. As to the balance paid, there was a 50.00 charge for the fuel, which was fully outlined in the shipping order terms and conditions, the difference was for the oversize and overweight which again he was fully aware of.
We never misrepresented anything, everything was either disclosed in the initial conversation or the shipping order and the terms and conditions. |
