I would like to make it known to anyone that is moving a vehicle or is even considering moving a vehicle, that Andy at Capitol Auto Transport was, and is, in my opinion the best in the business. I had moved a vehicle once before a few years back using a different company and the experience was less then stellar... This time, I wanted to make sure that the transport company I used was a more reputable operation. To facilitate this, I consulted transport reviews and found great reviews on a company named Capitol Auto Transport. I didn't have much time to get the vehicle moved from my parents home in Southern Illinois to my new home in Portland, Oregon because my parents were leaving for the west coast in less then a week. I needed a professional and that is just what I found when I contacted Capitol Auto Transport. I then explained my difficult situation to Andy, and he said that he understood and would call me back just as soon as he found a soution. Well, he called me back about 10 minutes after we had talked and said that he could accomodate the special situation that I was faced with, and that he could have a truck in Southern Illinois to pick the vehicle up within 48 hours!!! Needless to say, I was astonished by this and was very pleased to say the very least... Andy explained the entire process to me and I decided, that here was a person that was going way out of his way to really provide me with customer service that was "above and beyond". So I agreed to go with Capitol and I was glad I did. The vehicle was picked up well before the agreed upon time, with Andy keeping me "in the loop" the entire time, so I knew what was going on. The vehicle was enroute to me in Portland before I could even believe it and arrived well before the agreed upon time which was incredible, because the entire nation was in the midst of a huge winter storm and I was sure it would have an impact on the movement of my vehicle. It did'nt and as I said, the vehicle arrived at my place well ahead of schedule with Andy again keeping me up to date on things the entire time. I just want to say...I have worked as a field representative with Ford Motor Company's Customer Service Division for 17 years and I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly in terms of the degree of customer service. This experience was far and away the finest customer service experience I have had in perhaps a decade or more and in this day and age, that is saying something. Is is rare that you have a customer service experience this incredibly excellent and I want everyone to know about it, because it really is so rare. Andy, at Capitol restored my faith in the fact that there are still some individuals out there that really do care and do business the right way. I can't say enough about Andy and Capitol Auto Transport!!! If I ever have another vehicle to move, I will know exactly who to contact without hesitation. Hat's off to Andy for the way he and his company do business. Superior customer service with a true professional is the only way to describe my auto trasport experience. If you have a vehicle that needs to be moved, this is the person you want to call and speak with first. He will not waste your time or mislead you with a "low ball quote" where everything sounds good, but they never come and pick up your vehicle, which is what happened to me a few years back with a different company.
Andy will take care of you "as if you were family" and you will be happy you went with him. Capitol is a First Class Operation and I really can't say enough good things about Any and his company. I will tell my friends, neighbors and family about this, as it really is so rare...
