I've shipped my car twice before with two different companies...lthe last time i had used all american transport based in FL...the car was traveling from tampa to northern california...they were good kept their promise of picking the car up within 3 days and my car got to california 3 days later...i was surprised but very pleased. this third time was the worst...i tried to place my other taking into consideration that this is a shorter route and i didn't want the car to get there days before i had to fly out there. I understood that the 90% of the time the car will be picked up within 1-7 day days, which was fine...well a week went with not even a phone call. I had to make the phone call to get an update...she told me that she had a truck lined up but needed to verify with him the next day...the next day rolled around no update...the day after that i called again and she had to get make the call to the driver while i was on the phone...turned out he couldn't get enough cars for the route so he decided to go up to washington instead. This was on the 11 th day mark. If i wasn't renting a car for this time period i would not have minded so much. But the fact that i am still shelling out an extra 150 or so a week is not worth it. I understand that it could be peak delivery time and they couldn' get a driver. But i had added on an extra with the suggestion of one the reps that it would be more of an incentive. Obviously that didn't work...The fact that the company had not bothered to keep me posted doesn't help...whether they have a truck or not...the common good customer service courtesy would be to keep their clients posted...after the 13th day i had decided to cancel with the company because i was unsure of whether they would even find a carrier anytime soon. I have moved my order to move on time...but i wish i had known about this site sooner because now i'm starting to become a bit concern that they might not be giving me the customer service i needed.
